Villanueva del Ariscal Grape Harvest Fair and Festival

One of the oldest and most recognized winemaking traditions in Andalusia takes place in the Aljarafe region of Seville, coinciding with the end of summer. Declared of National Tourist Interest, this festival pays homage to the extraction of the first must and the grape harvest.

In the town of Villanueva del Ariscal (Seville), the traditional grape treading, the blessing of the must, courtship parades, nightly open-air dances, and popular local wine tastings take place. An excellent opportunity to get out of the city center and experience a traditional festivity with a great popular atmosphere.

Access to the streets, squares, and festive venues is free of charge. The activities are distributed throughout the entire day and evening between Thursday, August 27, and Sunday, August 30.
