Exposiciones vanguardistas en el CAAC (Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo)
Located in the historic Monasterio de la Cartuja, the Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo (CAAC) fuses the rich monastic heritage with the most avant-garde artistic expressions of the 20th and 21st centuries. The venue preserves the kilns, chimneys, and traces of the old Pickman ceramics factory alongside avant-garde exhibition halls.
The permanent and temporary programming of the center addresses contemporary creation in its multiple disciplines: painting, sculpture, multimedia installations, photography, and performances. In addition, its spacious landscaped courtyards and historic orchards house outdoor sculptural pieces that invite a quiet stroll.
General admission has an economical price of 1,80€ (free access from Tuesday to Saturday from 19:00 to 21:00h and Sundays from 10:00 to 15:00h), with details available on the official website of the CAAC. It is a perfect space to get away from the city center bustle and connect with current art.
