Historical visit to the Palacio de San Telmo

The Palacio de San Telmo, current headquarters of the Presidency of the Regional Government of Andalusia, is one of the greatest exponents of Baroque architecture in Seville. Its imposing main facade, flamboyant and decorated with an extensive gallery of illustrious characters linked to the region's history, and its famous interior baroque chapel make the building a first-class heritage treasure.

Originally a seminary college for the University of Navigators, the palace stands out for the ornamental richness of its halls and its direct connection to the old gardens that were once part of its domain.

Visits to the interior of the palace are free, although they require a mandatory prior reservation through the enabled institutional channels due to security and capacity restrictions of the official headquarters.

Tip: book well in advance, as spots for the institutional guided visit quotas are very limited.
