Visita cultural al Hospital de los Venerables
The Hospital de los Venerables is a hidden jewel of Sevillian Baroque located in the heart of the Santa Cruz neighborhood. An old refuge for elderly priests, this building stands out for its magnificent church decorated with mural paintings by Valdés Leal and its peaceful central porticoed courtyard with a marble fountain.
Currently, it hosts the headquarters of the Focus Foundation, housing a valuable permanent collection of paintings and high-level temporary exhibitions, as well as recovering the historical memory of one of the most silent and beautiful corners of the old Jewish quarter.
The general admission costs 10€ and includes the official audioguide to tour the temple, the sacristy, and the noble rooms. It is recommended to reserve more than an hour to enjoy the architectural details.
