Located in the heart of the Santa Cruz neighborhood, the Hospital de los Venerables Sacerdotes is a jewel of 17th-century Sevillian Baroque designed by Leonardo de Figueroa. The building houses the famous Centro Velázquez, a permanent collection focused on painting from the Andalusian Golden Age.
The tour highlights its celebrated sunken courtyard surrounded by archways, the Baroque church covered with dazzling frescoes by Valdés Leal and his son Lucas Valdés, and the galleries where masterpieces by Diego Velázquez, Murillo, and Zurbarán are exhibited.
General admission has a price of 10€ (free for registered residents of Seville). The monument is open to the public all year round from Monday to Sunday and constitutes a cultural visit in the Sevillian Jewish quarter.
