Visit to the Museo Arqueológico and Dolmens of Valencina
The Valencina de la Concepción municipality preserves one of the most colossal and important Copper Age sites in all of Europe. The Valencina megalithic site documents the flourishing of a complex prehistoric society in the Sevillian Aljarafe over 4,500 years ago.
The itinerary begins at the Museo Arqueológico Municipal, located in the Casa de la Cultura, to discover tools, ivory pieces, and ritual objects. Next, a guided trip is made to the Dolmen de La Pastora, a monumental prehistoric tholos famous for possessing the longest corridor in the Iberian Peninsula (44 meters).
