Dreaming of Seville under the stars

The Giraldillo de Comedias company organizes its popular summer cycle of classic theater and sainetes (one-act comedies) outdoors, facing one of the most beautiful monumental backdrops of the Parque de María Luisa. This year, the proposal pays tribute to the famous regionalist architect Aníbal González.

The performance consists of two short comic pieces of Spanish popular theater: the hilarious sainete 'La esposa y la chismosa' by the Álvarez Quintero brothers and a comedy of errors by librettists Enrique Parada and Joaquín Jiménez. Laughter in the open air, surrounded by the majestic architecture of the site.

The performances take place from September 11 to 13, 2026 at 9:30 PM on the steps of the Museo de Artes y Costumbres Populares (Plaza de América). The activity is free admission until full capacity is reached.
