Theatrical Performance 'Poncia' with Lolita Flores
Actress Lolita Flores embodies the famous Lorquian character in the theatrical production Poncia, which arrives at the historic Teatro Lope de Vega. With a script conceived by Luis Luque based on the maid's interventions in 'The House of Bernarda Alba', the piece offers a heartbreaking monologue following the death of Adela.
On stage, Poncia reflects on repression, freedom, grief, and class tensions in rural Spain. The brilliant dramatic performance and carefully crafted lighting grant a renewed dimension to Federico García Lorca's classic poetic universe.
Performances are scheduled for November 7th and 8th, 2026, at 8:00 PM. Seats for the play have a starting price from €18.
