Baroque tour of the Palacio de la Condesa de Lebrija

The Palacio de la Condesa de Lebrija, located in the neuralgic center of Calle Cuna, holds the unofficial title of being "the best-paved palace in Europe." The building stands out for housing one of the most important collections of Roman mosaics in Spain, rescued from the ancient city of Itálica by the owner in the early 20th century.

On its ground floor and central courtyard, a magnificent amalgam of Roman archaeological remains, Visigothic columns, Mudéjar tilework, and Renaissance elements is displayed. The noble floor, preserved just as the countess lived in it, exhibits a valuable art gallery and period furniture.
