Contemporary stage programming at the Teatro Central

The Teatro Central is the public performing arts space of reference in Andalusia for contemporary creation, avant-garde dance, bold text theater, and live music. Located on the Isla de la Cartuja on the banks of the Guadalquivir, this black-box theater stands out for its technical versatility and its top-tier international programming.

Spectators can enjoy throughout the season productions of contemporary dance, series dedicated to avant-garde jazz, exhibits of heterodox flamenco, and theatrical performances by Andalusian, national, and international companies in its two main halls (Sala A and Sala Manuel Llanes).

Performances usually take place at night starting at 8:00 or 9:00 PM. Ticket prices start from €15, with discounts for students, youth, and season tickets.
