Historical heritage and cloister at the Espacio Santa Clara

The Espacio Santa Clara is located on the old Almohad palace of the Infante Don Fadrique and the subsequent cloistered convent of the Poor Clare sisters, on the northern edge of the old town. This monumental enclave restored by the City Council combines medieval history, Renaissance architecture, and a vibrant offer of art exhibitions.

During the tour, it is possible to admire its 16th-century Renaissance cloister, the old refectory with historical tile work, and the famous Torre de Don Fadrique, a 'rara avis' of Sevillian heritage that mixes Romanesque and Gothic elements. The secluded enclosure also houses permanent and temporary exhibition halls managed by the ICAS.

The monument can be visited with free admission for the general public. Its general schedule runs from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 20:00 hours, and Sundays or holidays from 10:00 to 14:00 hours. To visit the interior of the Torre de Don Fadrique, prior reservation by phone or at the venue is required due to capacity limitations.
