Walk among Almohad walls in the Jardines del Valle

Located between the historic circular road and the Puerta de la Carne neighborhood, the Jardines del Valle occupy the former courtyard and orchards of the disappeared Convento del Valle of the Franciscan nuns. This quiet public area acts as a green lung in the heart of the historic center, highly valued by local residents.

The main attraction of the area lies in the fact that it preserves on its eastern edge one of the best-preserved sections of the 12th-century Almohad wall of Sevilla, along with several defensive mud-wall towers. The walk takes place under the shade of centennial eucalyptus, acacia, and ficus trees, featuring children's play areas and benches for resting.

The gardens remain open every day with free access, with hours from 8:00 to 22:00 in winter (extended until 24:00 during the summer). It is a great option for walking with children in an environment steeped in history.
