José Mercé - Toquen a rebato (Flamenco Biennial)
The Jerez-born singer José Mercé returns to the Flamenco Biennial with the show Toquen a rebato, a proposal conceived especially as a unique night for this international event. A decade after his acclaimed closing performance at the Guadalquivir venue, Mercé is surrounded on this occasion by three young promises of the flamenco guitar to give a fresh and energetic vision to the most iconic songs of his career.
During the concert, Mercé's deep voice will be backed by the guitars of David de Arahal, José del Tomate, and Manuel Cerpa, traversing *soleás*, *alegrías*, and the essential *bulerías* from Jerez. The show will take place on September 20, 2026 at 8:00 PM at the central Teatro de la Maestranza, with tickets starting from €30.
As it is an exclusive production within the Biennial, it is advised to book seats in advance through the theater's official box offices, as the capacity usually fills up quickly.
