Exhibition 'Salud y Buen Viaje: La devoción que construye una historia'
On the occasion of the first centenary of the founding of the Hermandad de San Esteban (1926-2026), the Sevillian Town Hall houses a heritage exhibition of great devotional and historical value. The exhibition brings together key pieces of sacred imagery linked to the iconography of Christ Ecce Homo.
The great attraction of the show is that it manages to gather for the first time six 16th-century sculptural busts from different parts of Spain—such as the Convento de Santo Domingo el Antiguo of Toledo or the Antequera Museum—that share artistic features with the carving of the Señor de la Salud y Buen Viaje. The visit is with free admission and is carried out directly inside the town hall.
The show is open from September 1, 2026, to September 15, 2026, in the Patio Mayor del Ayuntamiento de Sevilla. The usual visiting hours are Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
