'The Beauty of Knowledge' Exhibition at the Museo de Bellas Artes

The second most important art gallery in Spain hosts a relevant temporary exhibition that brings to light masterpieces recently incorporated into its collection. Located in the former Convento de la Merced Calzada, the institution offers a cool and monumental refuge filled with Baroque history.

The exhibition brings together a dozen sculptures, paintings, and drawings at the Museo de Bellas Artes de Sevilla donated by the historian Enrique Carlos Martín Rodríguez. The tour showcases exclusive pieces from Spanish, Flemish, and French schools spanning from the 14th to the 19th century in the high galleries of the cloister.

The admission price is €1.50 (free for EU citizens). The summer opening hours during August are from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (closed Mondays), allowing for a quiet cultural visit during the morning.
