Exhibition by Raquel Algaba at the Real Fábrica de Artillería

Under the suggestive title *You will fall asleep and dream of the song of the flowers*, visual artist Raquel Algaba presents her new exhibition project at the Real Fábrica de Artillería de Sevilla. The exhibition starts from the classic myth of the lotus eaters to draw an analysis of contemporary society, immediate consumption, and the risk of numbing critical consciousness.

In the historic warehouses of the site, a suggestive scenography composed of sculptures in painted ceramic and meticulously drawn sketches is distributed. The pieces recreate a mental landscape charged with enigmas where the viewer is invited to question preconceived concepts about desire, utopia, and the search for happiness.

This exhibition has free admission. It is available Monday to Saturday from 11:00 to 20:00 and Sundays from 10:00 to 14:00. The exhibition will remain open only until September 20, 2026.
