Divine Words

The award-winning Compañía Atalaya arrives at the Teatro Lope de Vega with its acclaimed staging of Divinas palabras, one of the most universal creations by Ramón María del Valle-Inclán. The piece exposes greed, lust, and human decadence through the genuine language of the 'esperpento'.

With adaptation and stage direction by Ricardo Iniesta, the performance stands out for its physical strength, choral sonority, and powerful lighting design, a candidate for multiple Max Awards. The play will be offered from December 11th to 13th, 2026, in sessions at 8:00 PM (December 11th and 12th) and at 7:00 PM (December 13th), with rates between €4 and €21.

Seats require advance ticket booking through official points of sale of the municipal theater. It is advised to arrive with plenty of time to spare.
