Route through the pottery heritage and the Parque del Recreo

The cultural walk through the pottery heritage, complemented by a tour through the gardens of the Parque del Recreo, reveals Lebrija's ancestral relationship with clay and traditional ceramics. The clay from the local hills has fed for centuries an indigenous pottery of pitchers, bowls (lebrillos), and water jugs (botijos) of Andalusian reputation.

The route allows you to see the preserved historical kilns and the artisan workshops where clay is still molded on the wheel. Afterwards, the route invites you to rest in the wooded areas of the Parque del Recreo, a green lung where the emblematic Diversity Bench is located.

The itinerary is accessible at any time of the day in a self-guided manner and with Free admission. It is advised to take the walk during the early hours of the morning to avoid the high temperatures of June.
