Palacio de Peñaflor viewpoint and panoramic views

The Mirador de Peñaflor represents one of the most fascinating architectural and landscape enclaves of Andalusian Baroque civil architecture. Located at the top of the iconic palace with its characteristic curved corner and artistic wrought-iron balconies, this space offers a privileged perspective over the historic layout of the so-called 'City of Towers' and the banks of the Genil River.

During the visit, you can tour the ornamental elements of the facade and access the viewpoint point to contemplate a unique panoramic view of the bell gables, domes, and rooftops that make up the Ecija monumental profile. It is an exceptional enclave to understand the urban magnitude that the local nobility had in the centuries of maximum splendor of the Campiña.

Access to the venue has popular rates, being 6€ for adults and with a reduced admission of 3€ for children and students. It is advisable to schedule the visit first thing in the morning or in the late hours of the afternoon to enjoy optimal light for photography and avoid the highest temperatures of midday.
