Historical visit to the Palacio de San Telmo

The Palacio de San Telmo is one of the most spectacular examples of Sevillian Baroque, erected between the 17th and 18th centuries originally as the Seminary College of the University of Seafarers. After becoming the residence of the Dukes of Montpensier in the 19th century and later housing the Diocesan Seminary, it is currently the official headquarters of the Presidency of the Regional Government of Andalusia. Its emblematic main entrance is the work of Leonardo de Figueroa and represents an architectural milestone in the history of Andalusian art.

During the guided tour, visitors explore its majestic interior rooms, such as the Salón de los Espejos, the central Baroque courtyard, and the dazzling palace chapel, decorated with mural paintings by Domingo Martínez. In addition, the visit allows you to contemplate up close the famous gallery of twelve statues of illustrious Sevillians chiseled by Antonio Susillo that adorn the exterior balustrade.

The experience has free entry within the official 'San Telmo Abierto' program, but requires mandatory prior reservation through the Andalusian Government's web platform. It is recommended to bring the ID card or identity document indicated in the reservation to pass the security controls of the institutional headquarters.
