Visit to the Museo de la Autonomía and the Casa de Blas Infante

Located on a hill between Coria del Río and La Puebla del Río, the Museo de la Autonomía de Andalucía is the reference center for learning about the recent history of Andalusian self-government. The space integrates the museum headquarters, the Jardines de Blas Infante, and the iconic Casa de la Alegría, a residence designed and inhabited by Blas Infante until 1936.

During the tour, you can explore the permanent exhibition on Andalusian symbols and the Asamblea de Ronda, in addition to following an itinerary through Blas Infante's home, decorated with tilework and traditional elements. Admission to the museum and its gardens is free of charge, although visiting the Casa de Blas Infante requires mandatory advance booking online or by phone. The opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00 (and Wednesday afternoons from 17:00 to 20:00).

It is easily accessible by private vehicle from the A-8058 road in the direction of Coria del Río. It is highly advisable to book the time slot for the house museum in advance, as places for the guided tour are limited.
