Opera L'Orfeo by Monteverdi at the Maestranza
The Teatro de la Maestranza schedules Claudio Monteverdi's famous work, L'Orfeo, considered the first great opera in the history of music. The proposal arrives in the Andalusian capital in a careful semi-staged concert version.
Under the musical direction of the renowned specialist Leonardo García-Alarcón, the baroque ensemble Cappella Mediterranea and the Chœur de Chambre de Namur bring the classical myth of Orpheus and Eurydice to life. The dates include performances between February 4th and 7th, 2027, with shows at 8:00 PM (February 4th and 6th) and at 7:00 PM (February 7th), with tickets available from €35.
