River viewpoint and maritime history at the Torre del Oro
The Torre del Oro is a 36-meter-high military watchtower located on the banks of the Guadalquivir River. Built in the 13th century by the Almohads, it served as a defensive bulwark to block passage to the historic port of Seville.
It currently houses the Naval Museum of Seville, spread over two floors with models of historic ships, navigation charts, nautical instruments, and an upper viewpoint overlooking the river.
The access price is a 3€ donation (free on Mondays).
