Collective exhibition The Last Painting at the CAAC

Under the careful curatorship of Curro González and Alberto Figueroa, the collective exhibition La última pintura is positioned as one of the most exhaustive and important reviews of the contemporary painting scene in Andalusia. Hosted by the Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo, this proposal takes the pulse of the different currents and pictorial languages developed by Andalusian creators of diverse generations.

The exhibition brings together a very extensive set of pieces belonging to more than 30 Andalusian artists of contrasted trajectory and emerging international projection, among which names such as Irene Anguita, Fran Baena, Raquel Serrano, Manuel M. Romero, or José Luis Valverde figure. The works investigate the validity of the pictorial support, abstraction, revisited figuration, and the interaction of painting with current technology.

Admission costs €1.80 to see all the temporary exhibitions of the center, although it has free access slots on entire Saturdays (from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM) and Tuesday to Friday between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM. An indispensable opportunity to take the temperature of the most recent Andalusian art.
