Dani de Morón - Cuadro (Flamenco Biennial)
Virtuoso instrumentalist Dani de Morón comes to the Espacio Turina with his innovative solo guitar and ensemble project programmed within the XXIV Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla. Recognized for his two Giraldillos and a Latin Grammy nomination, the musician from Morón is considered one of the most influential and personal guitarists of his generation, having accompanied the master Paco de Lucía live.
In the work Cuadro, the guitarist retrieves the essence of the traditional 'cuadro flamenco' to transform it into a living and unpredictable space. Together with the voices of Sergio El Colorao, Amparo Lagares, and Ismael El Bola, the dancing of Claudia La Debla, and the rhythm of Los Mellis, the music is built through improvisation and constant dialogue between the guitar and the song.
