Summer sports in the town will say goodbye in style with the celebration of the traditional Campeonato de Natación Ciudad de Lebrija, an eagerly awaited aquatic event that brings together fans and local swimmers every year to enjoy a day of coexistence and healthy competitiveness in the municipal facilities. Organized with the support of the city council, this event promotes sports practice and offers an exceptional atmosphere to say goodbye to the month of August by cooling off in a purely summery and festive environment.
The competition will begin from 18:30 hours at the Piscina Municipal facilities, where exciting races adapted to different styles and distances will be held. Among the scheduled modalities are the 50-meter freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly races, in addition to the demanding 500-meter freestyle distance race, testing the endurance and speed of the registered participants.
Registration to participate in the championship was completely free, after management during the enabled period at the pool itself. It is recommended to arrive in advance to enjoy the stands, secure a good location, and experience the finals of each category up close in a family and relaxed atmosphere.
