Historical visit to the Casa de Pilatos

The Casa de Pilatos is considered the prototype of an Andalusian palace and one of the most sumptuous Renaissance and Mudéjar residential complexes in Spain, built at the end of the 15th century by the Adelantados Mayores de Andalucía. Its architecture stands out for a harmonious fusion of styles where plasterwork arches, polychrome wooden coffered ceilings, and traditional tile floors reach supreme heights.

The main courtyard and surrounding gardens house an important archaeological collection of classical Roman statues acquired in Italy, giving the palace an air of a unique humanistic classical villa in the city.

General admission to the ground floor and the upper floor has a price of 14€, which can be purchased directly at the palace box office or through its official website. It is recommended to visit early in the morning to enjoy the tranquility of its courtyards.
