Summer Season at the CAAC: 'La última pintura' and 'El espíritu de las formas'
The Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo hosts the temporary exhibition La última pintura, an artistic project located in the halls of the old Monasterio de la Cartuja de Santa María de las Cuevas. The exhibition examines the languages and drifts of recent contemporary painting through the display of large-format canvases and multidisciplinary pieces.
The exhibition remains open throughout the month until February 28, 2027, with opening hours from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm from Tuesday to Saturday (and Sundays from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm). Access is free of charge from Tuesday to Friday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Saturdays from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm, while the standard rate for other passes is 3.01€.
Strolling through the cloisters and gardens of the monastery while touring the exhibition makes this visit an ideal outing for couples. It is recommended to arrive before the final closing time to walk through the pavilions at a relaxed pace.
