Prehistoric tour of the Dolmens of La Pastora and Matarrubilla

The Archaeological Enclave of the Dolmens of La Pastora and Matarrubilla is one of the most important Copper Age megalithic sites in Western Europe. Located in Valencina de la Concepción, this site preserves large tholos-type funerary structures built during the 3rd millennium BC, of enormous astronomical and ritual significance.

During the tour, you visit the Dolmen of La Pastora, famous for possessing the longest underground corridor in the Iberian Peninsula at over 43 meters long, and the Dolmen of Matarrubilla, which houses a unique monolithic offering table. Admission is free, but requires mandatory prior reservation online or by phone, and is available from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 to 14:00 hours.

Visitor reception and the meeting point are at the Casa de la Cultura de Valencina (Plaza de España). Travel between the reception center and the entrances to each dolmen must be done in the visitor's own vehicle.
