Olive oil route and EVOO tasting at Hacienda Guzmán

Located in the district of La Rinconada, just 15 minutes from Sevilla, Hacienda Guzmán is a historic 16th-century olive estate that became the largest producer and exporter of olive oil to the New World, counting Hernando Colón, son of Admiral Christopher Columbus, among its owners.

During the oleotourism experience, visitors tour the Andalusian Baroque palace, the old oil mill with its monumental 15-meter-long wooden beam press, and the spectacular Olivoteca, a unique living museum with over 150 varieties of olive trees from 13 countries. The visit culminates with a guided tasting of organic extra virgin olive oils produced on the estate.

Guided tours are held from Monday to Saturday with mandatory prior booking through the estate's official website. Rates start from 15€ per person for the route with olive oil tasting, with proceeds going to the cultural work of the Fundación Juan Ramón Guillén.
