Heritage tour of the Hospital de las Cinco Llagas

The former Hospital de las Cinco Llagas, located in front of the Macarena walls, represents one of the most important Renaissance complexes in Europe. Designed in the 16th century by architects such as Martín de Gainza and Hernán Ruiz II, it functioned as a public hospital until the 70s before being restored to house the official headquarters of the Parlamento de Andalucía.

During guided institutional visits, you tour the historic lighting courtyards, such as the Patio del Recibimiento or the San Carlos courtyard, and access the interior of the old hospital church, now spectacularly adapted as the Salón de Plenos of the regional chamber.
