Sacred heritage and Treasure museum at the Basílica del Gran Poder

Located in the central Plaza de San Lorenzo, the Basílica de Nuestro Padre Jesús del Gran Poder is one of the most important devotional epicenters in Seville. The Neo-Baroque temple, designed by Alberto Balbontín and Antonio Delgado-Roig and inspired by the Pantheon of Agrippa, houses the venerated image of the Lord of Seville, a masterpiece sculpted by Juan de Mesa in 1620.

In addition to the temple area, the brotherhood has the Tesoro de la Basílica del Gran Poder, a museum where the rich historical-artistic heritage accumulated over more than four centuries is exhibited. The exhibition includes embroidered robes of great value, processional insignia, silver liturgical items, and historical documents of the corporation.

Access to the basilica for worship is open and has free admission. To visit the Treasure Museum, a ticket with a general rate of 5€ is required, with a reduced rate of 3€ for children under 16 and seniors over 65. The museum is usually open in the morning and afternoon, from Monday to Saturday (closed during Lent).
