Paseo por el Parque de María Luisa y la Plaza de España
The Parque de María Luisa is the most famous historic green lung of Seville, designed as a romantic garden and the main legacy of the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition. Its lush avenues of centenary trees house gazebos covered in ceramics, ponds, and monuments dedicated to literary glories.
At its eastern end stands the imposing Plaza de España, designed by Aníbal González as the great symbol of the 1929 exhibition. Its navigable canal, flanked by bridges and provincial benches decorated with tiles, constitutes one of the most photographed architectural corners in the world.
It is an ideal plan to enjoy on foot or by renting a scooter or a horse-drawn carriage at any time of the day, taking advantage of the pleasant autumn temperatures.
Free and open access throughout the public grounds 24 hours a day.
