Nature Walk and Agrarian History in the Parque de Miraflores

Located in the Macarena district, the Parque de Miraflores represents the largest green lung in the northern area of Seville with its 90 hectares of extension. Born in the 80s by popular initiative to recover an old area of orchards outside the walls and landfills, the site is a unique space where urban biodiversity, sports, and agricultural heritage coexist.

The park houses a huge central lake inhabited by waterfowl, extensive wooded areas, and sports zones. Among its historical heritage, the Hacienda de Miraflores, the waterwheel and cistern of the Huerta de la Albarrana (which supplied water to the old Hospital de las Cinco Llagas), and the emblematic community urban gardens stand out.

It remains open to the public with free entry every day from 8:00 to 22:00 (extended hours in summer season). It is a perfect destination to walk as a family or cycle through its signposted paths.
