Opera L'Orfeo by Monteverdi at the Maestranza

The iconic Seville venue hosts the staged concert version of 'L'Orfeo', the monumental masterpiece by Claudio Monteverdi, considered one of the first operas in the history of music. The proposal brings together international soloists and top-tier baroque ensembles under the stage and musical direction of the theater.

During the performance at the Teatro de la Maestranza, the public will be able to enjoy the recreation of the Greek myth of Orpheus through careful period instrumentation, exceptional lyrical voices, and a minimalist staging that enhances the drama and emotion of the score.

Tickets are available with prices from €35. Performances begin punctually at 20:00h and it is advisable to arrive at the venue at least 20 minutes in advance.
