Nature and panoramic views in the Arboreto del Carambolo

Located on the slope of the Cerro del Carambolo in Camas, just minutes from Seville, the Jardín Botánico El Arboreto del Carambolo was created by the municipal company EMASESA in 1986. Conceived to stabilize the terrain of the Aljarafe cornice, it is now a lush botanical park that serves as a natural viewpoint and ecological classroom.

Along its paths organized into seven sectors, visitors contemplate more than 500 plant species, including areas dedicated to medicinal flora, aromatic plants, aquatic plants, conifers, and imposing ornamental trees. In addition, the park guards the sculpture 'La trampa de la memoria', donated by Venice after Expo 92, and offers a spectacular panoramic viewpoint toward the Vega del Guadalquivir and the monumental silhouette of Seville.

The visit has free admission and the park usually opens from Tuesday to Sunday in the morning hours. It is an ideal destination for a family walk or to enjoy the botany and views in a serene environment.
