Cultural exhibits at the Casino de la Exposición
The Casino de la Exposición is a monumental neo-baroque building designed by architect Vicente Traver as the Pavilion of Seville for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929. Crowned by a majestic ribbed dome with artistic stained glass, it forms an inseparable historical complex together with the adjacent Teatro Lope de Vega.
Its large and diaphanous circular central hall regularly hosts large-format temporary exhibitions, cultural contests, literary events, and scientific or artistic dissemination exhibits organized by the Seville City Council.
Access to regular municipal exhibitions is with free admission, except in large-scale private traveling exhibits where a paid ticket is applied. General hours during exhibition periods are Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
