'The Beauty of Knowledge' Exhibition at the Bellas Artes
The Museo de Bellas Artes de Sevilla presents the temporary exhibition The Beauty of Knowledge, an exhibition tour that explores the confluence between science, art, and scholarship through painting and decorative arts. The Sevillian art gallery hosts this exhibition in its temporary exhibition halls within the monumental building of the old Convento de la Merced Calzada.
The exhibition brings together highly valuable pictorial and bibliographic pieces that show how the pursuit of knowledge has inspired the great masters of Western art. Visitors walk through air-conditioned rooms surrounded by Renaissance and Baroque courtyards where natural light enhances the chromatic richness of the works.
The general admission price is 1.50€ and is free for EU citizens. The exhibition will be open to the public until October 11, 2026, during regular hours from Tuesday to Sunday.
