Antiques and collectibles at the Mercadillo del Jueves

Held uninterruptedly since the 13th century on the popular Calle Feria, the Mercadillo del Jueves boasts the historical status of being the oldest open-air flea market in Spain. Cited by Miguel de Cervantes in his celebrated Exemplary Novels, this urban bazaar embodies the genuine spirit of traditional and artisanal Seville.

Along the edges of Calle Feria, between the Plaza de la Iglesia de Omnium Sanctorum and Calle Correduría, dozens of stalls are set up, overflowing with vintage items, antiques, out-of-print comics, vintage vinyl, antique clocks, ceramic pieces, restored furniture, paintings, and unpredictable collectible knick-knacks.

Visiting the flea market is free of charge and it takes place weekly every Thursday from 08:00 to 14:00. Strolling through it early in the morning is the best way to soak up the local atmosphere and scout for authentic finds among its improvised counters.
