Améfrica en el Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo
The Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo, located in the Monasterio de Santa María de las Cuevas on the Isla de la Cartuja, presents The Last Painting. This exhibition brings together large-format pictorial works produced in recent decades to analyze the transformations of pictorial language in the face of the impact of digital technologies.
The works are distributed throughout the emblematic chapels, cloisters, and naves of the old Pickman pottery factory. The marked contrast between the medieval monastic architecture and the most recent artistic avant-gardes offers an ideal framework for visual reflection.
Full admission costs 3.01€, although there is free access from Tuesday to Friday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The exhibition will remain installed until February 28, 2027.
