Visit to the Baroque Hermitage of Santa Rosalía

The Ermita de Santa Rosalía is a temple of particular architectural value located in the old town of Gines. Built in 1723, it stands out for its unusual hexagonal and octagonal floor plan in the dome, a scheme rarely seen in religious buildings in the Aljarafe region.

Inside, it preserves an interesting Rococo-style high altarpiece presided over by the titular image of Saint Rosalia of Palermo, accompanied by Baroque canvases and devotional imagery linked to the town's history.

Located in the central Plaza de Santa Rosalía in Gines, it can be visited with free entry during morning and afternoon opening and worship hours. It is located 10 minutes by car from Mairena.
