Cycling Walk and Green Route through the Parque metropolitano del Aljarafe

The Vía Verde del Aljarafe as it passes through the municipality of Mairena takes advantage of the old path of the Cañada Real de las Islas livestock trails. This flat path connects the municipality with the olive groves of the region, offering an itinerary of fresh air and nature ideal for cycling and hiking.

The journey allows you to pedal between historic olive groves, cross streams like the Caño Real, and enjoy clear panoramic views of the Aljarafe ridge. The path is free access and is open permanently all day long, with spring being one of the best times of the year to do it due to the blossoming of the countryside.

It is recommended to start the route from the Polígono PISA area or the Parque Central, bringing a helmet, bicycle repair kit, and sun protection.
