Viewpoint and Ruins of the Castillo de Lebrija

Located at the highest point of the municipality, the grounds of the Castillo de Lebrija offer one of the most spectacular panoramas of the Sevillian countryside and the Guadalquivir marshes. This fortified enclave of medieval origin preserves sections of walls and watchtowers that evoke its former strategic defensive role on the historic frontier.

A walk around its surroundings allows you to enjoy a space reclaimed for citizen leisure, ideal for contemplating clear sunsets over the agricultural horizon of the region. The information panels at the site detail the archaeological evolution of the hill from the Turdetan era to the Christian conquest.

Access to the walled enclosure and the viewpoint is completely free and is permanently open to the public every day of the week. Comfortable footwear is recommended due to the slope of the streets that rise from the old town.
