International Flamenco Day celebrations

Lebrija, considered one of the historical cradles of 'arte jondo', is moved every November with the celebration of the Día Internacional del Flamenco. The events pay tribute to the inclusion of flamenco as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO and combine outdoor dance exhibitions, conferences on the gypsy legacy, photographic exhibitions, and visits to heritage spaces.

The main activities are concentrated around the Plaza de España and the passage of the Centro del Flamenco, highlighting the 'bulerías' choreographic displays by the students of the Municipal School of Music and Dance and the tributes to mythical figures of the local flamenco tradition. The complete program has free admission.

The programming starts from 17:00h on the main days. It is an ideal opportunity to delve into the Lebrija flamenco identity in a festive and participatory environment.
