Wine culture at the Barbadillo Manzanilla Museum
The Manzanilla Museum of Bodegas Barbadillo is the reference space for discovering the oenological history of Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Located in an early 19th-century building next to the Castillo de Santiago, this winery complex reviews more than two centuries of wine tradition started in 1821.
The visit combines self-guided access to the historical museum with a guided tour of century-old warehouses such as the La Catedral de la Arboledilla Winery. At the end of the route, a guided tasting of 3 or 4 iconic wines accompanied by an appetizer in the hall is offered.
The general rate for the guided tour with tasting is 20€ for adults and 5€ for youth aged 13 to 17 (free for children under 13). Guided passes in Spanish are held at 12:00 and 13:00 from Monday to Sunday, with prior reservation being essential through the official website.
