Bicycle or Hiking Route along the Vía Verde de la Campiña
The Vía Verde de la Campiña makes use of the old railway layout to offer a flat cycling and hiking route that connects Écija with the rural surroundings. In March, the crop fields of the countryside look green and flowery, offering an ideal natural landscape.
The Écija section allows you to walk or cycle without complex slopes, observing 19th-century metal bridges and the avian fauna of the area.
The itinerary is free and does not require a reservation. It is advisable to take the route during the central hours of the morning provided with water.
