Cycling Route along the Río Genil River Path

The riverfront park that borders the course of the Río Genil as it passes through the urban area offers a green lung where the riverside vegetation dampens the high summer temperatures. The Parque de la Ribera del Genil has tree-lined pedestrian paths, play areas, and viewpoints over the riverbed.

During the walk, one can observe species of aquatic birds that nest in the gallery forest, in addition to the historic stone bridge. The space is open access 24 hours a day and is ideal for families with children who are looking to walk in the shade.

The ideal time to walk through the park in August is during the early hours of the morning or just before dusk.
