Ruta arqueológica del Mosaico de la Amazona Herida
The Municipal Historical Museum of Écija, located in the magnificent Palacio de Benamejí, continuously develops a didactic and cultural program focused on historical and artistic dissemination for all audiences. These proposals seek to combine playful learning with direct experimentation through archaeological pieces and the city's rich heritage, offering an enjoyable and highly participatory approach to the past of Écija.
During the sessions, participants enjoy practical activities such as creating Roman jewelry, ceramic oil lamp workshops, introductions to contemporary art, or simulated archaeological excavations adapted for them. The dynamics are designed so that the youngest can understand historical and artistic processes by experiencing them first-hand, always in an incomparable monumental environment and guided by specialists in heritage didactics.
Participation is free until full capacity of 25 places per session is reached. It is essential to register in advance at the museum reception or by calling by phone starting seven days prior to each scheduled workshop.
