Baroque Festival of Écija
The Sevillian municipality immerses itself fully in its colonial and stately splendor with a new edition of the Festival Barroco, a benchmark cultural event organized by the Ayuntamiento de Écija that highlights the city's impressive architectural and historical heritage. For a full week, the town recovers the customs of the 17th and 18th centuries through a unique program in the Sevillian countryside.
Attendees can enjoy daytime guided tours with micro-concerts in iconic churches and convents, night routes illuminated by lanterns, masterclasses by art experts at the Museo Histórico Municipal-Palacio de Benamejí, educational workshops, and a baroque market set up in the central Plaza de España. It is an exceptional opportunity to rediscover the City of Towers from a recreational, artistic, and sensory perspective.
All festival activities are completely free and have open access until full capacity is reached, so it is recommended to arrive early at the indicated spaces so as not to miss the routes and exclusive concerts.
