Children's exhibition «El Museo Educa»
The Museo Histórico Municipal de Écija is hosting an interesting temporary exhibition that collects artistic creations and drawings made by schoolchildren as part of the educational project «El Museo Educa». Organized by the Asociación de Amigos del Museo de Écija, the exhibition reflects the work carried out throughout the school year to bring local heritage closer to schools in peripheral areas and districts.
Visitors who go to the exhibition hall on the upper floor will be able to contemplate the unique perspective that children have of Ecija's history after participating in workshops, guided tours, and experimental archaeology experiences. It is an excellent opportunity to appreciate the work of cultural dissemination carried out with schools in the region in an incomparable monumental setting.
The exhibition is open to the public until the end of October during regular museum hours and access is completely free. It is located inside the Palacio de Benamejí, situated in the plaza de la Constitución, making it an ideal plan to calmly enjoy the top floor of the gallery.
